Hydration
Players should drink at least 16 to 24 oz. of water or sports drinks prior to practice. Players are required to hydrate throughout practice. Water is the least expensive and most accessible fluid during exercise. However, sports drinks contain electrolytes, sugar, and water which give athletes important nutrients during exercise.
